Contemplation at the half-way point of these back-dated entries is playing a larger role in their creation than I expected. For some reason I thought I would just write some poingant but (perhaps) nonsensical bullshit for all the images and videos I set aside, but they provide so many memories that filling these virtual pages has not been much of a challenge. I’ve had to edit the internal dialogue with the expectation I might have too much material.

There were no profound thoughts in my head or deep cogitations at the moment this image was taken. In fact I think She asked me to take a portrait because the day was so beautiful, and we appreciated the hike too much to pass the opportunity. More often than not, this is the premise of our creativity; how can you enjoy life so much and not desire a record?
Many of these images and videos I took months ago, and quite literally forgot about them. Yet once we were reintroduced, the entries seem to write themselves. That’s interesting to me, because I in the past have often struggled to produce commentary here. I guess things change.
