Sometimes I wish that I at forty was more like she is now. But hoping for a different present outcome is a dangerous game to play, so I try to stay humble to awareness of the present.
She has been a bigger part of my growth than perhaps I since we met have been. Sure, there is a symbiosis in relationships, but her motives are driven a little harder in the direction of understanding and exploration than mine.
At least I think so, who knows anymore. It is a challenge to separate us.
