Everything in life is a metaphor, if you wish to view it that way. Demanding growth from experience drives me to constant interpretation; what pushes you?
Stillness augments motion. Our two hours in Lamont Hamilton’s exhibition at the museum introduced us to a flow of souls barely touching on his subject. I’m unsure how in even 5 mintues anyone could absorb such a slow-motion visual overload, much less recognize his recorded sounds — or even imagine the resource.
Ironically, the motion-saturated enclosure was an island within a shallow trickle. Then again, I’m apathetic to those whose patience and curiosity have been bludgeoned by persistent stimulation. Let them pass.
