If you were blind, would light exist? What is sound if no one hears it.
Before we built telescopes the universe was not there and the earth was just a place where we walked; an endless, limitless flat plane. But a solar system leaped into existence when we saw beyond our eye line and observed earth’s curvature, and proved to ourselves other similar objects floated around our sun.
What have we really learned? All of it is trivia anyway. Constant gratefulness seems like a good way to give thanks for life — that and a sharp decrease in the serious way we approach it.
