Since I don’t have friends with teenage kids, and generally don’t know many people, I have no idea if other families spend their free time together doing simple things like scouring a beach for sea glass. But I hope they do, because we really enjoy such simple times, even when the weather might seem a little averse to our plans. In an age of condoned social distance and devices complementary to it, I can only expect that other families are converging the way we have.
