Unlike a lot of other posts in this collection, this is just me thinking out loud. We often talk about the significance of what we create and post because neither of us assumes our point of view is important in the crowd. After all, we’re no different than you. Yet, aside from the drive to create art and convey our personalities with imagery, we also appreciate reflection when it occurs.
When fear causes a contraction of our awareness, it is probably because we are caught in desire for certainty.
When we were younger a lot of conversations went unspoken, either because of family situations or a simple lack of mentorship. It was the same for both of us, even though we grew up in different times, so we appreciate finding frank points of view that are willing to challenge reality. That’s why I continued this collection even after she decided to move on: there is value in exploring our own truth. Honesty is the unspoken basis for everything we create. It is the reason why we find it hard to relate to some, but also why we enjoy each other. Because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
