Throughout development of her artistic practice including photography, painting, literature, and alt-process, Myesha has focused on the deeply personal, deriving from her mischaracterization by those around her.

Myesha Callahan Freet is a visual artist who earned her BFA from the University of Houston, currently residing in Chugiak, AK. Her inspiration and focus draws from an ongoing exploration of the evolution of self through her roles as a mother and wife.
