At seventeen, Vassar Callahan Freet is a partially self-taught artist who likes to write short stories, read, take pictures, and skateboard. He is constantly being taught and helped by his parents, who are a giant inspiration. He considers them to be great role models and strives to be more similar to them every day.

In high school Vassar is 3-sport, honor roll student who follows his artistic curiosity. He enjoys shooting landscape and pictures of what he considers “slices of life”. In his spare time he’s probably doing homework or reading a book in the fantasy genre.
